On June 19th, 2023, over 200 allies met at Adastral Park for the "Making It Happen" conference. This event followed a previous gathering in January 2023 where attendees listened to young people's perspectives, looked at systemic shortcomings, and launched the Festival of Ipswich Voices.
The June conference focused on transforming the system and collaborating to make Ipswich a welcoming and supportive town for a welcoming and supportive town for all young people. Designed and delivered by young people, the conference was full of inspiring discussions and action-oriented outcomes.
The conference brought together a diverse audience of senior leaders, frontline staff, and young ambassadors from various organisations to discuss improving the lives of Ipswich's youth.
